"INITIAL EXPERIENCE 11/26/24: I recently had a question about why my premium increased. We had a short conversation through text on 11/26/24, and they asked if 12/5/24 would work for a phone call. I said no but indicated that 12/6/24 would work. They never responded, so I followed up on 12/5/24. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this lack of communication towards their customers and hope they can improve in the future. UPDATE 12/9/24: Adam Jurs contacted me after my initial review and we scheduled a call for 12/7/24. Adam quickly accused me of including "incorrect information" in my review. My initial review accurately reflects my experience and I genuinely did not receive a response from State Farm. Despite his claims of prioritizing customer care, Adam failed to approach the conversation constructively or professionally. Adam also said that my initial review made a team member cry and disclosed her name breaching her privacy. While I apologized, Adam responded "that's what happens when you post something on a public forum" which further demonstrates his unprofessional and inappropriate approach. During the call I was the one who initiated the inquiry and requested additional information about my premium. His failure to add value during the call reflects his priorities. Despite requesting the call, Adam provided no meaningful assistance and chose to make inappropriate comments about my initial review. After the call I sent Adam a screenshot that clearly documented the communication disconnect between the State Farm representative and me. Despite explicitly asking him to review it he ignored my evidence entirely. The day after the call Adam sent me a screenshot of his laptop as proof of communication from his earlier claims but again ignored the screenshot I had provided. His text message to me—"What are you talking about? As I stated. WE responded. I can't take the fact you didn't receive a secured message from us"—reflects poorly on his professionalism and approach to customer service. His responses demonstrated an unwillingness to engage constructively. His actions made it clear he had no real intention of engaging constructively. His poor attitude and disrespectful behavior reinforced he was more focused on proving himself right. Respect and customer service go both ways, yet Adam demonstrated neither. UPDATE 1/4/25: Adam mocked my review as my "feelings" and stated he "stands by his character," making it clear he sees no issue with his disrespectful and unprofessional behavior. I also received a direct threat of legal action from Adam "your unprofessionalism, editing to show a one-sided opinion, and potentially harmful accusations could potentially be considered libel and defamation". This threat came after I posted a screen recording of our full conversation clearly displaying his disrespectful behavior. My review is based on direct quotes, screenshots, and documented interactions, accurately reflecting my experience. Notably is both hypocritical and deeply ironic that he claims to "stand by his character" while simultaneously threatening me for showing his own messages. His baseless threats are as laughable as his so called "character". REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERACTIONS: Despite his repeated claims to himself about being careful with his words, Adam Jurs needs to reevaluate his disrespectful and inappropriate approach to customer care. If he needs examples of his own careless use of words, he can review his direct messages to me and those sent through the State Farm number. These actions do not reflect those of an agent who prioritizes customer care, nor do they meet the high standards expected from a 'top agency' or a reputable insurance professional. If these are the standards Adam Jurs holds for himself, they are shockingly low. FINAL DECISION: After these interactions I switched to Drew Federau State Farm. Drew and his team took the time to clearly and respectfully explain my premium increase and also helped me identify the best discount options to lower my premium."

As we spoke about, our team goes above and beyond to make sure we get back as soon as humanly possible to our customers...in fact, it's why we've been ranked one of the top Agencies in the Country, and we have built processes and added people to ensure that our customers come first! Insurance is highly regulated so I'm very thankful that we can go back in time to keep records of communication, as we are not perfect, but we both confirmed that you received our ask to schedule a phone call to discuss your concerns. We never heard back from you in this regard until you followed up on 12/5. Regarding our phone call that I requested to be set up, I was simply going above and beyond as you had already been serviced by my team regarding your accident and the claims question. This was documented and explained to me prior to our call, so my call was regarding the technological side and making sure you heard directly from me that we responded within 6 minutes of your inquiry, and I sent you the proof from our end that we were very responsive to working around your schedule to explain your questions. It appears that there is a disconnect with your expectation from the call, and wanted a different answer than what was provided, and I explained how the claims and pricing process works in a very detailed email which I have not heard back from you. I rearranged my calendar to accommodate your schedule on a weekend and was driving at the time, without access to my company laptop, yet you have shared I was unprepared, which was not the objective of my call to you. We always appreciate feedback, and I’m also thankful that the team has expressed their prompt customer service toward your needs as well. "I worked with Drew. He is the sweetest, most helpful young man. I am old and he went slowly for me and explained everything to me all along the enrollment process.
